Cultivate Christchurch, the Aotearoa New Zealand based urban farm and youth wellbeing project, has inspired people all over the world with its grounded, place-attentive approach to youth wellbeing in a disaster recovery setting. This conversation is between Bailey Peryman, one of the founders and vision holders of the organization, and Kelly Dombroski, a curious academic who partnered with Cultivate for a nationally funded project on urban wellbeing, and discusses how Cultivate’s work relates to the concepts of survivance and havening.
